How can you go wrong with regular exercise? A study from the University of Illinois (2006) found that there were significant increases in brain volume for aging adults who participated in aerobic exercise. The results suggested a strong case for the role of aerobic fitness training in maintaining and enhancing CNS health and cognitive functioning in older adults. This is just an example of one study which proves that physical activity has an incredibly powerful protective effect on the brain and its processes.

Recent studies have claimed this gem can help lower cholesterol? Green tea is thought to be an herbal panacea of sorts, believed by many to have a wide range of health benefits. But whether it can actually produce measurable effects on cholesterol is a question that has drawn much debate.

Non Alcoholic Beer Aids Marathon Recovery

Yes, the title does read NON ALCOHOLIC! A new study reports that beer is an excellent recovery beverage for marathon runners. But you may not want to start a raucous celebration just yet. The beer was effective only if it was nonalcoholic.
