As you are all now aware (or probably sick of hearing), the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Open is almost upon us with the first workout due to be announced on the 22nd February. The Open workouts will be performed weekly at CrossFit Norwest with Rich and Johnny judging all workouts. ANY DECISION THEY MAKE ON A REP/MOVEMENT STANDARD IS FINAL.

 

 

Any workout score which has not been given the ok by Rich and/or Johnny will NOT be validated, so if you're not happy with their decision you will either have to (a) record your workout, submit your video online and have the CrossFit community judge your standards OR (b) perform the workout at another affiliate. If you are no repped, accept it and perform the movement again to the very best of your ability. When each workout is announced CrossFit HQ will also announce with it strict movements standards which the CrossFit Norwest judges will adhere to, you will be able to view these online in each weekly workout explanation. By adhering to these movements standards this tries to ensure a level playing field across the globe.

 

Avoid any issues by practicing correct movements and range of motion NOW - every time you perform a workout at the box. This will make it a while lot easier to perform movements correctly when you are tired during competition.
