You may have noticed another product link has popped up on the side of the website; through CrossFit Norwest you are now able to purchase grass fed beef and lamb from Argyle Meats. It's well known that grass-fed animal products have shown to be rich in all the fats now proven to be health-enhancing, but also low in the fats that have been linked to ill-health and disease. So if you're interested... A quarter body of beef costs $525 and a half body lamb is $142.50. Time frame from purchase receiving order is 2 weeks as The beef and lamb come directly from the Argyle farm and are all delivered cryovac packaged, vacuum sealed (except sausages) dated and clearly labelled. These will last in your fridge from 4 – 5 weeks, and they can also be frozen.
“Argyle Pastoral” is an established family farming business located in the South West Slopes of NSW, near the town of Harden. Currently Argyle is running approximately 7,000 breeding ewes, 1000 breeding cows and a conservational and rotational cropping programme including wheat, oats, triticale, barley and canola. A sustainable approach to all aspects of agriculture has never been more critical thus their conservative and sustainable approach over the past 20 years has seen vast improvements in moisture retention, tree plantings, erosion, catchment management, soil structure and pasture improvement. The benefits of the above improvements are clearly evident in their livestock’s performance and hence the quality of the end product.
