A big thank you to Victoria Jarvis of Hilltop CrossFit who complied comparison data of RAW athletes from their 14.5 to 16.5 performance in the CrossFit Open repeat WOD of thrusters and burpees. The data was based of 47 RAW athletes who we had recorded as registering in this year’s CrossFit Open. READ MORE BELOW.
Comparing the results of 47 RAW athletes from their 14.5 Open WOD performance to 16.5 Open WOD performance saw a vast improvement across the board.
From the ladies our biggest improvement was Beth O’Brien who smashed her 14.5 time of 20.44 by 387 seconds to record a time of 14.17 in 16.5.
From the men our biggest improvement was Daniel Lytmynsky who smashed his 14.5 time of 23.38 by 509 seconds to record a time of 15.09 in 16.5.
Of the 14 ladies the average improvement was 144 seconds or 2 minutes and 24 seconds.
Of the 33 men the average improvement was 130 seconds or 2 minutes and 10 seconds.
Of the 47 RAW athletes only one athlete did not improve their time from 2014.
